Bible versions, licenses & LMV

Our Bible version policy

LM Bible offers verified public-domain editions and openly licensed Bible editions whose terms allow this publication. Each edition keeps its original name, source credits and license. A Creative Commons license is not the same as public domain.

Availability is based on the rights notice for the exact source edition, not just a translation name. Editions without verified publication rights remain unavailable. Reading is free, and offline downloads are offered only where supported.

Public-domain Scripture remains free to read. Translation names and marks identify the original, unchanged edition; altered wording is never presented under another publisher’s translation name.

LMV — our original standard version

LMV (LM Bible Version) is the original Bible version we are writing to become LM Bible’s standard version. It is currently in development and human review, not a completed published Bible.

Until reviewed LMV Scripture is available, reading and study passages use the named public-domain or openly licensed edition shown beside the text. We never relabel an existing translation or AI-generated study explanation as LMV Scripture.

LMV publication requires recorded source provenance, a version, and accountable human approval. Study notes, original-language evidence, interpretation and AI assistance remain visibly separate from Scripture.

This license applies to the Tagalog Bible text and its adaptations, not a blanket license for all LM Bible software, study notes or original LMV work.

Text integrity and study materials

Multilingual imports verify a reviewed SHA-256 checksum, source notice, book coverage and duplicate verse records. We do not fill missing Scripture with a different translation or generated text. Display formatting and internal book identifiers may be adapted; source verse numbering is preserved.

Edition licenses apply to their respective Bible texts, not a blanket claim about every part of this website. Software, original LMV work, commentary, dictionaries, language datasets and other study tools have their own rights and attribution. AI explanations can be wrong and do not replace Scripture or human review.

Corrections and privacy

Report the edition, book, chapter, verse and suspected problem through LM Bible Support. Never send passwords or private account details.

Personal journals, prayers, messages and private sermon drafts are excluded from the public Bible index and sitemap.
